Appreciate O&G is generally off limits, but a footnote for the Falcon Oil & Gas (LON:FOG) record that the Northern Territory authorities have lifted an historic moratorium on O&G fracking/development in the state that will allow Falcon Oil & Gas (LON:FOG) and their partners to develop the substantial Beetaloo gas field in the state that was identified a few years ago. Shares have been in purdah for a while pending this decision and notwithstanding the many things that could still go wrong prospects here now look pretty good.

On a quiet news day and very off the beaten track (in more ways than one), after too many false dawns to count Falcon Oil & Gas (LON:FOG) announced this morning that testing confirms the likelihood of significant gas flow from their Beetaloo field in the Northern Territories. A paper double bagger from the initial entry price in a single trading session …… should just about cover a tank of petrol from the windfall given the tiny holding.
