What are your preferred ways to stay on top of the investment news that counts?
How do you filter through the morass of available information to find the stuff that matters?
Are you an RSS purist or do you dabble with "secondary" sources like brokers or the financial press?
What about blogs?
Are you a FT man or is the WSJ your bible?
What about investment magazines like the Investor's Chronicle or Moneyweek?
What else is out there? Does anyone use Factiva or other news aggregators?

Having been on the company side of many Investors Chronicle stories, I'd be wary of relying on them too much. They get a lot very very wrong. Mainly because they can't spend the time they need on each company.

FT not the bible it once was - again the journo's are too stretched.

Personally I use RNSs and Google Alerts daily for stocks that I already own or I am watching. The harder problem is where to get new ideas from. There things like The Chronic have a use, but only as a starting point, not because of the recommendation.
