Hello. I am finding the use of the Folio function really useful. I have created 10 Folios and currently that is the limit. Would it be possible please to consider increasing the limit to 12 or 15 please? Thank you for looking into this.
Any chance of having a checkbox excluding individual folios from news notifications on the front page?
I use a number of folios to test criteria, but the downside to this is I get hit for all their folio news which takes longer to weed through.
A consolidated view of combinations of folios would also be really useful.
Alternatively, a few user definable fields against stock master table and/or transaction history table that could be sorted, grouped, totalled could be even better... effectively allowing an unlimited number of folios/watchlists/sandboxes.
Adding my support to this request. As a software developer it seems such an arbitrary limitation. No justifiable reason for it as paying subscribers. Come on Stockopedia! Also like the idea of consolidated views (grouped folios) e.g. a consolidated view of separate ISA/SIPP/Taxable folios.
Yes. I believe there will be a line of code in the software which defines the number of folios so Number_of_Folios = 12 could be altered to Number_of_Folios = 15. And probably extra storage space for the new folios would not be too much. Such is my two pennies worth of thoughts.
Relatively new user here. 20 Folios appear to be a reasonable number. For the price of this service i find it quite annoying to shuffle around folios with the limit of 10. Pls change.
I don’t have a view about the number of folios, but the facility to consolidate folios (i.e. the facility to present the holdings and return graphics of multiple folios as one).
Currently, I maintain a separate folio consolidating all the sub-folios, but it means entering all the transactions twice.
Being able to copy a transaction from one portfolio to another would be a useful function.
I've posted elsewhere about this, but to no avail. The new web-site's various browsers' Folio print options are riddled with bugs. Even worse, in the iPad App, there is no print option AT ALL! I've emailed Ed and Sam about this without even an acknowledgement that there is a problem. The old web-site worked perfectly in Internet Explorer, MS Edge, Firefox and Safari. I can't believe the arrogance of switching the old web-site off with the new site still in this mess.
I’m having problems with the new site as well and the help desk have suggested it is my computer or iPad or WiFi that is the problem. The old site works fine. On my iPad I can’t scroll across to see the other columns is one issue, some functions take ages to work or I get error messages .
This is why I use Sharepad as well as Stockopedia. It is very simple to create a read-only portfolio that includes all transactions from each of my five live portfolios. This simplifies matters greatly when assessing one's total assets and performance. In addition I have read-only portfolios for growth shares and income share.
Hi re Sharepad do you know what the difference is between the Sharepad option and Sharescope offering ?
Looks a good service offered on Sharepad pro but pricing looks a bit lumpy is it offering way more than Stocko for the extra bucks ?

Anyone else having system crashes and not displaying 'performance' graphs when deleting data from a folio? Now not showing 'performance' graphically yet all the data is in?
I have not deleted any data from folios so I don't know about that, best to contact Oliver on the helpdesk, he can usually sort it out, I've had several folios go wrong which is a concern.
But I'm getting lots of error messages and screen freezes, it only happens when using this site.
Converting folio to chart view can take ages, I'm talking over 10 minutes. Yet if I do the chart view on a screen it takes seconds, so something is not right there, the helpdesk are unable to explain this.
If you do any changes on your folios, I would take a screen print before you do, so you can see the before and after. One of mine went wrong after a share split was done.
Hi Andy, I did look into Sharepad/scope a while ago. Sharescope seems to be for day traders or shorter term investors, has many charts etc, multiply screens at the same time. The main difference between the ordinary and pro seems to live prices and level 2.
What it offers more than Stocko seems to be more flexible screening, you can set your own rules. It also covers USA and Europe stocks. It has unlimited number of folios. It also covers funds and ITs.
...So could someone from stockopedia please tell us if they plan on improving the website and allowing fully paid up members to have more than 10 portfolios?
It'd also be great if the graphs included the return from dividends. As far as I can tell it's just capital appreciation at the minute. I do find a lot of the Stockopedia functionality extremely basic for the price, and as others have said requests for improvements often fall on deaf ears for many months / years.
The really simple one, have you provided the information above back through the green button at the bottom right screen, the more folks that post stuff through that the more likely it is to make it on the long list of stuff to do, and obviously more feedback means it moves further up the queue as the priority becomes clear!
Thanks. Yes Oliver explained the problem ;there is a point in time in your portfolio history where your portfolio is in a cash deficit. I need to go back and see where that was in time for my folios. ATB.
Please give us more folios, I am desperate to track some of the stuff I'm investing in and interested in and currently unable to do so
