As founder managed businesses tend to outperform, I'm interested in researching these more.
Does anyone know of an information source that identifies all the UK listed businesses that are managed by their founders ?
I tried Google. If there is no existing data, guess I shall have to either research them myself or perhaps post a job on ODESK.
Would you not wish to narrow this search down to specific sectors where management can exert an influence?
After all, there are some intensely competitive industries (retailing, resources etc) where no amount of influence from founding management can drive a company to outperformance
