Goldstone Resources (LON:GRL) (GRL, 7.75p, ? 6.06%) announced final soil sampling results for the Manso Amenfi project in Ghana. Final sampling results for Manso Amenfi have yielded multiple gold in soil anomalies of up to five kilometres in strike length, and of the 2,070 soil samples taken from the permit area, 378 had anomalous gold concentrations ranging from 20 parts per billion to 2.4 g/t. Intense artisanal gold mining in the south western part of the permit area and the margin of a granite intrusion in the southern part of the permit area coincide with significant gold in soil anomalies.

Rock Solid Images (BUY) (RSI, 3.50p, ? 0.0%) announced the award of a follow-on West Africa reservoir characterization project. Rock Solid Images announced today that it has been awarded a follow-on seismic reservoir characterization project worth almost $0.4 million to de-risk interpreted prospects offshore Equatorial Guinea. The initial project from this privately owned oil company involved the mapping of potentially prospective stratigraphy of Pliocene age and the current project was extended to examine similar prospects of the same age elsewhere in the block, and older prospects that are anticipated to be Upper Miocene in age. This brings the combined total of this order to $0.7 million. The project is currently underway and delivery of the results is expected in September 2011.

Technip (TEC,EUR 59.97, ? 8.02%) announced that Anadarko Petroleum Corporation has issued a Letter of Intent to the company for the engineering, construction and transport of a 23,000 ton Truss Spar hull for their Lucius field development. This field is located in approximately 7,100 ft (2,165 m) of water, in the US Gulf of Mexico.
