Galliford Try seals a deal with Thames Water, worth up to £500m company news imageHousebuilding and construction group, Galliford Try (LON:GFRD) has been appointed as the contractor by Thames Water, initially for over £100m worth of work and potentially up to £500m worth for the next five years.

The £1.8 billion UK construction and housebuilding group with divisions in building, infrastructure, PPP investments, housebuilding and affordably housing & regeneration confirmed today that they will be working with Thames Water. The process contract to upgrade water and waste water treatment facilities in both the north and south London regions will be carried out in joint venture with Biwater and Mott MacDonald. Another network contract to improve water pipelines and sewers in south London will be carried out in joint venture with Morrison Utility Services. Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, commented:
