I think it is about time I made a post on the progress Stockopedia have made.
I think this goes without saying but I am actually very impressed with the amount of effort and time that has gone into developing this site and what is clear to me is I sense a high level of determination to get this site to be amongst the best on the Internet.
As many would have gathered by now I am not easily impressed so I hope management take this as a very high endoresement and continue to work hard hard and continue making the effort to improve the services us end users enjoy. It really is very much appreciated.
E.g. Inviting CFOs from large FTSE 250 companies to do a Q&A session with their very own private investors is an act of Sheer Brilliance in my books. And whoever it was at Stockopedia that came up with the idea Well done.
As IMO it is these things that will really make Stockopedia stand out and bring more users to this site.
Ed - This too is very impressive to get your name in the Telegraph
Edward Croft, the chief executive of Stockopedia, a website for private investors, said: "It's election time, and investors are extremely uncertain about a new government being forced to raise taxes. It's pretty logical that they are seeking tax shelter. And the stock market is still pretty compelling value compared with property and bonds."

Thank you very much for all your hard work...Please keep it up.
Ed,
I personally was very impressed with your interviewing with Roger Cagle. I think you did well to ask the questions and then LISTEN. You let Roger speak in as much detail as he wanted without interrupting him.
Most Interviewers don't listen much and tend to talk over whereas you let Roger speak!
Stockopedia has been very succesful to date. I think they have capitalised on a number of fools (board members) joining from TMF by simply listening to the users and taking on board the feedback given.
I think last nights Interview with Roger has really given Stockopedia momentum and wider recognition as the Interiew was very good and I would think people outside Stockopedia will visit just to listen.
To further leverage on this success I think it would be a good idea if possible to get SOCO to RNS your interview with Roger Cagle or even have it put up on the Soco site. I personally felt it was a very good Interview where Investors can genuinly take a lot away when considering to Invest in Soco as a lot of good information was given.
This will also give greater recognition if mentioned in the media and get a bigger city audience. As I do think there are only so many anaylsts you can contact with the transcript and audio whereas it may be easier to make small institutions who are not so familiar with Soco to take a look and have a better understanding as they would be doing so with a 'fresh pair of eyes'.
Sadly, there are just some people who simply won't take notice however much you tell them about the Soco story.
If you want to really leverage on obtaining more users from TMF then I think Stockopedia should consider doing 'Meet the management' Interviews with other well followed stocks on TMF.
I think these include
-IND
-GMG
-AEX
-DNX
-QED
I do wonder how many posters registered in the last 24 hours just to listen to the interview.
Well done and I hope Stockpedia continue to be succesful.
