Stockopedia is good enough to allow us to screen stocks on the Indian stock market …
but as a UK citizen how can I buy stocks on the Indian stock market?
I am not interested in Indian ETFs or funds … I want to buy raw Indian stocks? ;-)
I can’t seem to find a broker here in the UK that allows you to buy Indian stock?

You would need to open a brokerage account in India, which is not easy for non-nationals. That was the state 5 years ago when I looked into it. I decided to use UK investment trusts listed on the UK market such as Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust (LON:AIE) , India Capital Growth Fund (LON:IGC) . Most private individuals in India buy retail funds to invest.
You can invest in Indian stocks through the wealth management divisions of many international banks. But there will be thresholds below which an investor would not qualify as a potential customer.
