I would like to make a duplicate of my main folio. This will allow me to delete old share purchases so I could (for example) follow just the new share purchases I made in 2017. Alternatively I could follow just the share purchases I made using a new strategy.

One way to more or less do what you like is to use google spreadsheets.
I have one of those which combines the holdings from several broking accounts into one spreadsheet for tracking purposes. It also allows me to categorize investments.
