XPP in its January trading announcement says it has net debt of £10.1m and £10.8m net debt n its October statement but Stockopedia says it has net cash and no debt of £8m in its TTM column ?? Can someone explain as I'm confused thanks !!
At a guess you've answered your own question: it's a trading statement, giving just a few numbers, and presumably focusing on the ones the management team would like you to focus on. It's not a formal announcement of full financial figures. Updating just the couple of numbers they've given and leaving everything else the same would lead to massive inconsistencies in the data.
