Am I correct in thinking that the results from the various Stockopedia dividend screens do not show the dividend payments in the performance results?
If so, does anyone use a dividend types stock selection system and how well does it work?
You are right ... we are currently only showing the capital gains in the performance reporting of all screens (and StockRank performances) - dividends are not included. But we have acquired a significant global dividends database and are planning on adding total returns data over time. Obviously for dividend screens it's far better to have the dividend returns displayed so it's been a core product goal to add this data in.
I'm not an out and out dividend seeker, so I'll leave the second part of your question to the community - there are some wiser heads on the subject out there than me.
