Morning all!

Alumasc ( Alumasc (LON:ALU) ) – 103p – £37m – PER 6.2

Trading Update For The 12 Months To End June 2019 – PBT to be 10-15% below expectations, progressive Dividend paused, will be 7.35p, same as last year.

This is what I said last time " Looks like value to be had here if forecasts are met, I am just not convinced they will be" – So I will remain on the side-lines and keep an eye out for actuals.

Myclex Technologies ( Mycelx Technologies (LON:MYX) ) – 188p – £37m – PER 16.1

Trading Update – Trading Q1 but delays to some projects, moved to 2020. Revenue and Profit to be below expectations, circa $20m and $0.5m.

I am Long here and may well be changing that position this morning - This looks like a HUGE miss!

SThree ( SThree (LON:STHR) ) – 276p – £362m – PER 8.1

H1 Trading Update – In-line, FY expectations unchanged.

Still tempted here, there's a 5% yield on offer. However, the recruitment sector is still not one I have a conviction for at present, if or when I do, I will probably be involved here.

Walker Greenback ( Walker Greenbank (LON:WGB) ) – 76p – £54m – PER 9

AGM Statement – In-line.

Still can't get too excited here.

As always, all comment most welcome!

My morning smallcap tweet:

Cerillion (LON:CER), Wincanton (LON:WIN), St Peter Port Capital (LON:SPPC), Biome Technologies (LON:BIOM), Alumasc (LON:ALU)

Cerillion (CER) wins a major contract worth an initial £5.1m with the Danish telecom and utility company, It 'supports existing market forecasts'.
Wincanton (WIN) wins 'significant' 5 year contract from Morrisons to manage all transportation planning and operations from three distribution centres.
St Peter Port Capital (SPPC) FY. NAV 17.21p/sh, down 17% due to write-downs. Still no progress on realising any of investments. Cost cutting of £340k PA, "Nevertheless, there is a minimum cost below which it is simply not possible for an AIM-traded, Guernsey company to operate." Exploring adding a new theme to investment strategy whilst continuing to seek the realisation of the Company's existing portfolio..
Biome Technologies (BIOM) commercial production of the new heat stable material has commenced. Expect sales imminently fot cutlery application and H2 for the long awaited rigid ring for the coffee pod market once final testing has been completed.
Alumasc Group (ALU) guides FY adj pretax 10-15% below its previous expectations. Will maintain the 7.35p FY div.

Frontier IP (LON:FIPP) posts an announcement from portfolio company Exscientia, a world leader in artificial intelligence ("AI") drug discovery, that it has entered into a drug-discovery partnership with GT Apeiron Therapeutics.

I'm sorry about your upset with Mycelx Technologies (LON:MYX) Matylda - I did come fairly close to buying, but I just couldn't understand why trading in the shares was so sporadic after such exceptional results in the year past. This looks to be a HUGE drop in results this year. In the finals the directors did admit that forecasting is difficult; I'd be waiting to see what the interims are like.

Finals from Mountfield (LON:MOGP) are out today which look good overall, with profit +28% and revenue up a not dissimilar amount (too lazy to get the calculator out this morning). However, eps is almost stationary due to a much higher tax charge. Two things dissuade me from wanting to buy: (1) The CAF division turnover is slightly down with profit down 30-40% and (2) the order book is actually almost flat at £16.4m, up only 0.2m on last year which seems a bit odd considering the big rise in turnover in MBG and also that the company says they have been concentrating on building the order book of CAF with some smaller contracts... so I'm guessing not very many of them to-date.

Acquisition announced by RM (LON:RM.) of Sonet Systems in Australia, boosting their presence in that region. Paying £7.3m for a company with turnover of £3m (profit figures not stated) doesn't seem excessive. (I hold).

M P Evans (LON:MPE) make an AGM announcement stating crops about 5% higher with production of palm oil almost flat. I didn't know what the company did... and now I do I have zero interest - a dull company liable to be upset by weather anomalies, such as tropical storms and typhoons.

Thanks for all the reports this week; have a nice weekend all.
