Intercede Group, the Leicestershire based supplier of identity credential management software systems, announced that they have achieved solid interim results for the six months to September 30th 2010. Sales increased by 25% to £3.5 million, and operating profit increased 79% to £1.2 million over H1 FY2009/10 (note H1 FY2009/10 operating profit of £674,000 does not include a £579,000 exceptional charge from defending the company against a patent infringement lawsuit in the US - which has since been resolved).

As the sales increase suggests, Intercede made good commercial progress over the period, generating new sales of its MyID software to an additional US Federal Agency and a large unnamed intergovernmental agency, as well as extending sales significantly in existing projects with BT for the NHS Data Spine project, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton and Kuwait.
