Can anyone kindly suggest a way to screen for stocks where interim EPS shifts from a negative value to positive? Obviously Q/Q % growth doesn't work. And it is not possible to filter on past values. Actually, best I can tell I cant even filter on interim EPS actual value anyway. hmmm.
It would be a start even if I could filter on "Interim Earnings per Share Growth Q on Q = null"
I am missing too many names that enjoy huge EP improvements, but are not caught by Q/Q growth filtering, since -ve to +ve expressed as % growth is a null value.
So much data, yet so few filtering options. Stockopedia is the only retail accessible global market solution I know of, so I am eager to find solutions to screening limitations.

Try this with either a 1 for a full year or 0 for a half year. It is only an approximation and relies on the latest positive period being greater than the absolute loss, and throws up a lot of false positives.
