Relatively new to the investing world and as such I'm trying to ingest as much knowledge as possible through reading. I've read a wide variety of investing books over the past six months that have helped build a base and understanding to wide variety of concepts, strategies and market scenarios. However, one area that most of the books I read seem to dance around is the big question of 'When to Sell?'

While I am newbie to the investing world, I do still understand that the answer to that question isn't simple or straight forward in the slightest. I mean that is what all these books tell me time after time. 'Everybody has different ideas of when to sell', 'The only person who can decide when to sell is you' and 'There are so many factors that come into when to sell a stock that I don't even know where to begin' are phrases I swear I read in every book I've read.

I'm not looking for an easy A/B/C answer on when to sell that I can use and apply to all the shares I own but I would least at like to be informed of things that I should be taking into consideration. Books on different strategies and approaches will give me info on what metrics and data I should be focusing on when deciding which stock I should be buying for that specific strategy but they don't seem to do the same thing when it comes to selling it. (I'm sure doing the opposite isn't the simple answer I'm looking for)

So I was wondering if there are any books or videos (or anything really) that gives insight on what one should be looking for when making that decision of 'When to Sell?'. Be it books that entirely focus on selling OR books that may just have one chapter on it but that chapter is really insightful.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing any recommendations.
