Just signed up for premium membership and have been looking at the Ranks -> Performance for StockRank. At first glance it seems really nice, with performance of top 10% ranking stocks beating everything else, but as soon as you start to touch the time spans or other parameters it falls apart.
It doesn't seem that StockRank manages to outperform even the benchmark (S&P500) in any other timeframe than the initially displayed Jul 2013 to now.
In all other timeframes the numbers are all over the place. Sometimes higher StockRank indicates better returns (but rarely beating the benchmark), other times it doesn't seem to correlate at all (low ranking stocks beating everything else)
What am I missing here?
Ah, it seems that the UK and EU historic performances are pretty consistent, but the US is all over the place. Anybody, got any idea why this is?
