I have noticed a big difference between the share price for Shell as shown in my portfolio of GBP 18.94 and the share price on the Shell website GBP 20.37. Why is this.
Yes but it could be a right pain, I would have thought Stockopedia could just switch them over?
Why does the prices change if Shell (LON:RDSB) is no longer active? There could be a notice on the stockreport. It is quite misleading, I thought they were down 1.24% yesterday, when in fact they were up nearly 4%. My folio is of course showing the incorrect amounts.
I haven't really been following it. But I had assumed that 1.24% down was on the last day it was traded. Yes, I think it would be preferable in this instance if Stockopedia switched it over, which I think has happened for the RDSA shares. But that would mean that the history on the Stockopedia stock report would be slightly out for shares that had been RDSB, if the history stays in tact for former RDSA shares.
Has stocko implemented intra day information on its site or is it still previous days close information?
You maybe right about the share price movement, the problem is it will then be -1.24% on your folio everyday which is wrong, they should 0% the movement, if the shares are not active anymore. Fortunately I don’t have a large holding in my folio.
Just to illustrate:
At least the SP is moving in the right direction as I hold Shell (LON:SHEL)
