Still one more trading day to go before the end of June; it's turning out to be quite a good month already for quite a number of oil stocks. Are we expecting an even hotter month in July???
For the July 2014 “>20%” monthly oil stock competitions, which oil stocks will have the greatest move for
(i) >20% gain?
(ii) >20% loss?

For the July over 20% gain I would like to nominate Stellar Resources #STG. With a Market Cap of £5m it is participating in a high profile onshore South of England well Horse Hill-1 due to spud in a few weeks. The area has been previously been explored by Esso in the 60s and where oil was found.
For the greater than 20% loss I would nominate Tower Resources #TRP, following the Namibian duster, a current valuation of £41m still seems very weighty to me.
