I have been building a holding in £KRP since April this year, and Dividends included, I was doing quite alright thank you.
However, when I recently tried to buy more (AJ Bell) I was informed that the stock was no longer available to invest, and in fact I should sell down my holding before the end of October. It appears that clearing is no longer possible by CREST. I've missed a bit more growth and a generous dividend (I could have held out for the Div but got a little nervous).
My question is: is this true of all trading platforms - assuming they use CREST??
Does anybody have any other recommendations for a similar Royalty investment in a similar vein?
Shame really, it was one of my better decisions this year!
