In response to a question about my thoughts on these two companies Serica Energy (LON:SQZ) - v - Kistos (LON:KIST), I decided to use the Stockopedia 'Compare to' tool, to see what the data gives us. I've recorded my thoughts HERE.
I've still got some more work to do, to gauge the 2022 progress for them both, in advance of the interim results but Serica is looking the stronger of the two so far IMHO. Mick.

Thanks for the update/link. I am in agreement, but probably biased as Serica Energy (LON:SQZ) is one of my largest holdings.
Happy to hold here and see what happens in the medium term regarding oil price, takeover & their new well. Hopefully some way to go yet on the SP.
Serica Energy (LON:SQZ) definitely looks like the better company.
One interesting development is that Liz Truss the front runner for the Conservative leadership has indicated that she does not favour another windfall tax; and this is to Serica's advantage. People may assume that Sunak knows more about the subject but Liz Truss is a former Chief Secretary to the Treasury and is probably well versed in taxation matters.
