Hi

This is my first post here since taking the plunge and subscribing only a few weeks ago.

Firstly I'd like to say thanks to all those who've contributed posts/discussion comments since I signed up. I'm very much still learning so I've been reading everything possible.

By way of a little background, I spent a year or so trying to "get rich quick" in the world of AIM; trading; ramping/deramping; rainbow chasing; bulletin boards etc.
And now I've realised all that is not for me and I'm looking for a far more sensible and measured approach. And looking to make money not lose it!

I'm amazed at the difference in comments, analysis and debate on here compared to various bulletin boards I was monitoring - I won't name names but I'm sure you know which I mean.
So, thank you once again.

To my question:-
I've realised "Momentum Investing" is probably my style. And I've therefore been picking stocks with a heavy bias towards their Stockopedia Momentum Rank in combination with their overall StockRank.
But the question I'm now starting to think about is when do I sell a stock which has a high momentum rank? I guess when to sell is a question many people find more difficult than when to buy?
Do I wait until the momentum rank falls below a certain figure? Do I sell when the stock sp (hopefully!) has increased by a certain percentage?
I realise everyone has different goals and different strategies but I just wondered if there was anyone else out there following such a strategy (over a longer period time than me) and buying high momentum scores and at what point they decide to sell?

Thanks in advance for any comments.
