The new Google Finance update has lost the portfolio and live prices (for UK stocks anyway) feature. In fact it's a terrible update - I don't see why I'd use the website anymore.
Can anyone recommend a website that has live prices for free? I use the mobile app Webull but its portfolio feature is a bit basic and I try and avoid using my phone where possible because it hurts my hands!

Likewise, I use a spread bet account with IG for their live price feed. Not sure what the minimum account set up amount is but I would imagine it’s quite small (if at all). Decent charts, news coverage, useful background info on stocks (e.g. how many investors long/short of a particular stock or index) etc., as well.

Google Finance quotes are still real-time as far as I can tell.
But yes - the feature is completely broken now. No responsive graphs; no way to create a compact table of stocks for comparison purposes; keeps jumping out of the Finance feature so that you search for KWS and get a band!; and so on.

Of course there's no knowing when they might finally pull the plug...
I use a Google spreadsheet that pulls in live prices - last trade prices, so can be significant volatility from the bid/offer spread for the AIM shares I focus on.
But the ability to customise it to do exactly what I want, albeit with limitations, is very valuable.
It will be a real pain if they drop the price feed.......

Looks like the plug has now been pulled.
I think they've junked the "historical prices" feature as well.
Baffled does not even begin to cover my feelings about this. Why throw away class-leading features?
It's all gone from Google Finance and it's a crying shame. I've now moved onto MoneyAM on the desktop and the ADVFN app on the phone. The latter is actually very good, and free, but it's hard changing when you're used to a system.
