Lo-Q, the company that supplies “virtual queue” management systems for the amusement and water park industries, announced that it won a new contract to install and manage its flagship VQ2020 queue management system at Movie Park Germany – an amusement park located near Düsseldorf. Movie Park had about 1.2 million visitors in 2010, and the new Lo-Q system should be ready for the peak 2011 season. Movie Park is operated by Parques Reunidos, a major European leisure park operator, with 71 parks around Europe, South America and the US. Lo-Q has installed systems at Mirabilandia (Italy) and Parque de Attraciones (Spain), which are also operated by Parques Reunidos. This contract win demonstrates that Lo-Q is making progress in its strategy to increase penetration with the largest amusement park operators.
