Magic Hat Portfolio: DMGT in, RMG out

Time to switch the BLI portfolio around. Royal Mail (LON:RMG) is ejected by rotation. It lost 52% during its time in the portfolio. I should have bailed out at around 350p when the price dropped a lot, rather than hanging around now, when the price is 220p. I have sustained a big loss from what would normally be considered quite a stable company.

Daily Mail and General Trust P L C (LON:DMGT) is added to the portfolio. It has a momentum score of 86, one of the highest in the Greenblatt Screen.

That's about it, really. Stay safe out there.

My apologies if it's missed by me, but where exactly is 'The Magic Hat' Portfolio? Without seeing where that is your posts about what's in and out seem a bit meaningless.

Do I need to be on the 'old site' to get that link? I've found how to do that but I'm new here and wary of potential issues switching back and forth. Is it safe?

"Is it safe?" - classic line from film "Marathon Man" Not to be watched anytime you think you might need to go to the dentist.

I think it is safe (despite the warning that Stock gives when trying to do so). I've done it quite a few times and never had a problem.

swanvesta - as you say you are a newbie and someone whose only known the "new" site I'd be very interested to know what your thoughts are regarding the "old" site, assuming that you go there. Also whether you access via a desktop or mobile device. I suppose I'm an "oldie" - I can't get on with the new site but appreciate that maybe that's just me holding on to the familiar and that I should persevere with the new version rather than just give up.

I have done it many times, it is very safe, I rarely use the new system as too many features missing still. Yes you need to old site to access the link and any fantasy funds.

Have had a play with the old site. I think I prefer the look of the new site (laptop only) and the threaded organisation of the discussion boards. Not sure what else I would be missing, other than the fantasy funds, but I'm really hoping the 10 folio limit I've just hit will go away if I return to the new site!

hi swanvesta could you tell me how to get to the "old" site, I'm a newbie *recently signed up) but don't seem to have an option to switch to the "old" site, maybe new sign ups don't have the option
