Hello All,
Does anyone know of a reliable source where charts are available for market sectors (as I understand Stockopedia doesn't provide this feature)?
Thanks,
Wayne

I think you will find that sector charts are better served for the US market.
The London Stock Exchange is looking a little bit under-sized these days. Some sectors / business groups are under-populated.
If you want _technical_ sectoral studies I would recommend Stockcharts.com . Of course you can combine technicals with fundamentals with 'Stochcharts & Stockopedia' as a combo. And if you add Vectorvest and Stocharts & Stockopedia you can double-check.
If all that adds up to a sum that 'blows' the subscription budget why not just keep a list of sectoral ETFs and do your technical charting on Stockopedia. If you really hate Stocko charting (some do) then you could use TradingView?
As watchlist of the following US sectors held in a Stocko Folio would get you started:
Of course to examine the sectors / business groups you would need to add USA to your Stocko region set.

The US sector ETFs are a good way of investing and there is plenty of online data about the US market. Barchart is a useful source. The chart below tells us that Technology and Consumer Discretionary have been the best performers over the last 12 months. But if you look at what's been happening since early November, you can see that the less fashionable sectors such as energy have been accelerating upwards.
Hello Wayne,
This question has been recently asked by a few of us and I believe that there are ongoing discussions with Refinitv regarding sector charts.

The FT has some rather basic sector charts.
So does the LSE.
UKTradingview may have but I'm not a subscriber.
I'd forgotten about the FT charts. LiveCharts.co.uk also offer slightly better sector charts although I find the website slow and cumbersome to navigate.
Investopedia has just done a comparison of 5 key sector ETFs vs. the S&P 500. Energy, Financials and Industrials are leading the way currently. Over the longer term, Consumer discretionaries (XLY) and Technology (XLK) are the best performers (not shown of the chart below).
