Medilink Global UK Ltd. has announced that it plans to develop its operations in China following the successful placing of nearly 2m. shares.
Listed on AIM since November 2008, the company specialises in the provision of electronic healthcard network services. The company’s proprietary software instantly connects medical providers with medical insurers, employers and governments to process treatment claims via a credit card-type terminal.
Since its establishment, Medilink has installed the Medilink system through a network of over 100 hospitals and 2,000 primary care clinics, forming the basis of the Medilink's infrastructure in Malaysia. Medilink further expanded its electronic healthcard network to China, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
