I’m a novice investor and totally baffled about a stock I hold/held.
It wasn’t a big position approved £1,000 but it seems to have disappeared and my value is 0.

I think there might have been a takeover but surely my 514 shares haven’t just vanished?
I guess this proves my lack of knowledge, just need to learn so I don’t do it again!

The offer went through a few days ago at £2.12 a share, so the shares are no longer tradeable. The cash should arrive within a couple of weeks.
Different platforms deal with this differently. I can still see my holding, but I can't trade it.

Yes, the cash came in 19th July at X-O - so check the cash statement with your dealing platform - it should be showing on your account by now.
