Mello is back with double the number of investor events in May. We are returning to the luxurious surroundings at the Clayton Conference Centre in Chiswick, London W4 and running a new event on the first day....Wednesday 15th May which is called the Trusts and Funds show..

This new event has a fabulous line up of speakers and quite a few panel sessions with fund managers and investors dedicated to small company investing and the strategies around it so very worthwhile attending.

Then the following two days on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th May are all about Mello2019 and the opportunity to meet up to 60 small to medium size growth companies with good stock rankings along with 15 top quality Keynote speakers, and about eight educational seminars and panel sessions. Nearly all the companies will be doing 35 minute presentations with Q&A and we are expecting over 1000 attendees so plenty of fellow investors and Stockopedia users to network with.

Paul Scott and Graham Neary will also be doing a live show and running through the daily results and updates and there will even be an investor voted Awards show on the Thursday evening. Stockopedia will be there to answer questions and do a number of presentations to help subscribers make the most of the best data available to investors.

Two more companies coming for their first appearance have signed up this week Tavistock Investments & John Lewis of Hungerford and I doubt many of you know those so do come and meet them. Ticket sales are now 8% ahead of Mello2018 so make sure you have got yours

This looks an interesting event with a large number of better than average companies attending. Will Stockopedia be there ? Do Stockopedia investors attending have a meet up point ?

Firstly as the founder of Mello I can honestly say that these are very inclusive, investor friendly, community minded events. We offer Twitter followers a meeting point as they know each other online but not usually in the flesh and we are happy to offer the same for Stockopedia members.

It has to be said that many already know each other from previous Mello evenings/events and also by attending the Stockopedia Stockslam evening and we hold one of those at Mello too. Stockopedia come to nearly every Mello event and I am sure they will be there this year. They also won an Award at our event last year and will no doubt hope to win again in 2019

By attending a Mello event you will receive a Stockopedia directory of the exhibiting companies and I am pleased to say that the vast majority have good Stockranks. We only charge the companies a small amount to come to Mello as we believe in everyone sharing the cost of the event and that way the cost never puts off good companies that tend to be small and may only have small budgets.

It will not surprise you that companies that raise money regularly in the market & for speculative investment in mines/biotech/resources etc always have big budgets to pay for stands and get in front of investors. That is not what we want

I am sure others will back me up in saying how valuable these events can be so do not be put off by the fact they are not free

By far, the best value for money UK Stocks related event I have ever attended (been to 2 so far and will be at this one too).

(Mostly) quality companies, excellent industry speakers who are freely accessible before and after and a great all round social occasion too.

Highly recommended.

Agree with Matylda - An excellent and reasonably priced event.

Its unlikely I can attend both days, so am looking at which day, would best suit. When are we likely to see the itinerary for each day please, so I know which to book?

At this stage there are still companies signing up so difficult to set times in a schedule for the programme. If you say which companies you want to see then I can tell you which day they are exhibiting and presenting. It is currently running at 56% of companies coming on Thursday compared to 44% on Friday

Stephen will be speaking on the Thursday afternoon at Mello2019

I currently have him.down to speak at 2pm with the interesting title of his keynote being...... 'swiss army knife investing'

The programme can change slightly but it will definitely be Thursday for that one. D

Unfortunately won't be able to make this one , will you be making videos available of the main speakers and if so do you have an idea of the costs to watch these videos ?

Sorry to hear you will not be with us....We will be filming nearly all the keynote speakers and some of the panel sessions and about 30% of the presentations.....Anyone who has bought a ticket even if they do not attend will naturally receive a link to watch them all at their leisure. So even if you just buy a one day ticket that qualifies.

Nothing planned as yet for the Summer but Derby in November from 26th to 28th has been provisionally booked so stay tuned for more on that.
