Well my first post on this website, I think evrything has been said about MML, so can't really any anything useful. Will just watch for some good comments.
Not sure it works like that Al. I don't know the first thing about the company - and so a few paragraphs in the header might have been helpful? Fortunately you can go back to edit the header...... :-)
I don't know anything about the company either but I clicked on the 5y for the chart and got a shock. Obviously would have been fantastic to have bought some (or lots) 18 months ago, but hindsight's like that!
To his credit, the potential was quite clearly laid out here in April/May 2009 by p3dr036. See his earlier posts on http://www.stockopedia.com/content/medusa-mining-one-for-the-isa-27839/
It was right there for those that were listening properly, of which I was unfortunately not really one... :-)
p.s. Welcome to Stockopedia, Hyper Al. It's got its eccentricities but there's a lot here to learn from.
Welcome on board - but may I suggest (without being inhospitable) that there is little point starting a new thread unless you have a) something new to say b) a new subject to open discussion on. In this case there are already a number of threads on this co - so surely a message saying "hi, I'm new here" would be much better on one of them?
There is an even better approach - just because you got up this morning knowing nothing about Medusa Mining (LON:MML) doesn;t mean you can't get stuck in and do a bit of research and then share it with the rest of us as a way of opening proceedings.
So what could you hope to do in a short time?
Howsabout:
- a precis of recent broker research - I think there are broker notes on MML's website
- an overview of MML's business and or current projects - raw material available on website
- a timeline for future project milestones
- a comparison between MML and peers - for example Allied Gold Ltd (LON:AGLD) or any other small gold miner
- something about the outook for gold prices
- a news round-up
- etc etc etc
Like all bulletin boards this is like a party - if you arrive with a bottle and a plate of finger food you'll find everyone welcoming and generous. If you come in empty handed everyone thinks you're on the make and reacts accordingly.
You don't have to knock yourself out to do professional level research - although there are people here whose research comfortably exceeds accepted industry standards - all you have to do is show willing and you'll be greeted with open arms.
