So I really value the stock ratings that Stockopedia provides which I use to control the vast proportion of my SIPP. But within my SIPP I allocate 5% of my funds to be much more speculative investments and provide a bit of fun. I bought into Novacyt Sa (LON:NCYT) last week on the back story relating to the test equipment that it is now providing for the Coronavirus. They have approval in the EU but are now seeking FDA approval. The share price rocketed last week and then fell back strongly, but the interest continues, and the price is rallying again today. I would be interested to know if others here are trading this stock or if others also think it might be a good medium to long term investment (3-10 years).
Was looking at this and bought a few for a hedge against the virus getting worse. I found the forward PE and PEG interesting as it looks like profit coming..and this was before the latest news for the company. This will go up and down like a yoyo though so not for the faint hearted.
