In 2005 NBPOL acquired an 80% shareholding in Guadalcanal Plains Palm Oil Ltd (GPPOL) situated in Guadalcanal province in the Solomon Islands. NBPOLs core activity is the cultivation and processing of Oil Palm into Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) and Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) for sales to both domestic and foreign markets. NBPOL major export markets include the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
