Is it just my computer but is anyone else having trouble with speed problems of Stockopedia page loading on Microsoft Edge e.g 1.5 - 2mins? I have been told it is better to use Google Chrome but shouldn't this site be geared to load on all Web browsers? I had no trouble with the old site.

I have trouble with Edge on several sites - it often says a site is struggling to load that works fine on the alternatives. Both Chrome and Firefox seem to be much better browsers generally and not just for Stockopedia. Safari as well if you use iOS/Macs.

We are aware of the site being slow on Edge. It is a supported browser and we want the experience to be equal to the others. We are working through the causes, although it’s an incremental process as there is no single root cause. In the meantime, we suggest you use either Chrome, Safari or Firefox as an alternative. You will find the site works much better on any of those.

Microsoft have moved Edge to the Chromium code base and that version is currently in beta.
So it won't be long before Edge and Chrome are basically the same browser underneath.
The new system is jerky and erratic on the iPad. This is not up to their normal standards. Most unsatisfactory.
Thank you everyone for your response,I am most grateful. I feel that before this site was released it should have been compatible to all latest browsers. I will use Chrome but I don't like Google wanting access to all my credentials, etc. I found Edge to be adequate for my needs. I find it quite frustrating waiting for pages to load, watching that thin blue line at the top slowly crawl across the screen. Anyway once again thanks to all apologies for venting my spleen. Come on Ed get it sorted please
I have exactly the same experience - old site worked fine on Microsoft Edge, but new site will not load on my laptop - I had to switch to Google Chrome just for Stockopedia (all my other stuff still works fine on Microsoft Edge).
I use safari and it's so quick loading that I never get to read the "thought for the day" - No idea why we would have such different experiences
The only issue I have with the new version (sometimes) is incorrect text/screen size on the ipad
Yes, it can be. Usually for me at ‘ the wrong time’. However, works quickly when you switch back to old site
Thanks again everyone for your responses. I'm a great believer if a system works fine don't mess with it. I've done that as well Roy but think why should I. I pay my dues. To me this new site should have been tested on every browser before release. Here comes that slow blue worm again!!

Same here. Impractical to use on Edge as it's so slow navigating around - I've reverted to the old site until this is resolved.
I use Edge on the old site with virtually instantaneous response. I have not tried to use on the new but it seems the problem cannot lie with Edge. I would be most reluctant to change my browser.
