BP jumped yesterday due to their quarterly results. Good sign for the oil/gas market??!!!

For the November 2013 “>20%” monthly oil stock competitions, which oil stocks will have the greatest move for

(i) >20% gain?
(ii) >20% loss?

You may enter two stocks, one for (i) and one for (ii). More than one person may enter the same stock. The deadline for the November competition is midnight on Thursday 31 October 2013. Results will be posted on this thread asap after the Nov month end.

AFR - Afren (LON:AFR) (Halloween) IMS due tomorrow - another 'one day rodders' though could get update on Ogo-1 and sidetrack (overdue), Maqlub -1 and 2 expo wells, spudded June 2013 (110days,?) Ufon south well-1 2H 2013, El Kuran-3 spudded early Sept?, Q4 was to see Kurdistan update, Nov. possibly? East Africa updates. General positive newsflow re Kurdistan over coming weeks, change in sentiment - eg. full commissioning of KRI independent oil pipeline infrastructure..........

So +20% rodders......

LON:EXI for the up. Exillion is getting near offers coming in. Arip sold last time at 400p and so one could expect that to be a final price for any offer.

LON:TPET for the down. Been pumped up in October, so a deflation could well happen in November

Trap (TRAP) for the up please. Income should still be pouring in from Athena and I'm hoping for news of one or more deals to give the shares a boost.

QFI easily the highest gainer for the November >20% Up competition with 74% rise, thanks to
its' Special Brew! ;-) Congratulations to Rosco46!!!

NKO (Canada) missed a few beats, 48% down in November, with the boss leaving at year end and
a seemingly expensive new credit facility. Congrats to Fangorm for winning the >20% Down
competition with NKO!!!
