Cardpoint plc is the UK's first stock market quoted independent ATM deployer (IAD). Since initial float the company has become a provider of Electronic Transactions predominantly in Retail environments, this was reinforced with the acquisition of PT Distribution, one of the leading Mobile Top-Up terminal providers in the UK. The Company , which has it's headquarters in Lytham St Annes, has over 5,000 terminals in the UK, these are split between: 1,800 Cash Machines installed across the UK and dispenses more than T?60 million per month and intends to deploy up to 2,100 Cash Machines by the end of 2004. Its Cash Machines handle in excess of 1.2 million transaction per month; 3,000 Mobile Phone Top-Up Terminals (ETU) providing Top-Ups to a value in excess of T?7m per month and handling over 800,000 transaction per month... The company's terminals also can provide Credit & Debit card transactions both on the Cash Machine with Visa / Mastercard and on the Mobile Top-Up terminal for all Debit and Credit cards.
