A word of warning. Just had a call from a polite but rather slippery individual from "Park Group" about various investment opportunities. Polite up to the point where I asked him four times for the web address of his employer and refused to comment on how much i would invest in an idea I liked if they brought it to me.

Clearly a scam given the speed with which he hung up despite using all the various avoidance tactics to pretend he hadn't heard the question...

Claimed his company had put his clients into
http://www.westport.com/

The so called carrots he mentioned to try to reel me in where:

1) Involved in latest offshore Israel gas discovery.
Presumably this in some form or another.
"Noble operates the Alon C license with a 40.06% interest. Partners are Avner Oil and Delek Drilling, with 26.47% interest each."

But wouldn't confirm.

2) A Graphene opportunity

I'm guessing any investment would be into an "unlisted" company as, when I asked, he blatantly ignored the question. Not only that but he made a big thing about the impact of government and their tax policies, and how they encourage us all to invest in regulated investment products(eg ISa/SIpp) etc etc.

The big red flag for me was the insistence on tying me down on how much I'd invest(if I thought the idea on offer fit my criteria) and the reluctance to to proffer a company web address despite asking four times. Didn't even get round to asking if they were registered with the FSA, were offshore or the like as he scarpered fast.

Anyone else had such a call or are actually a client with something pleasant to say about this "company"
