Executive Summary
Partners Group Global Opportunities Limited will invest primarily in a broadly diversified portfolio of private market investments, including private equity and private debt, with a focus on direct investments. The Company will be able to invest across all geographic regions and business sectors, without limitation, and will seek to invest a majority of its capital directly in select operating companies, typically in transactions sponsored by a private equity fund. The directors undertake to propose a resolution for the winding-up of the Company if no investments have been made within 12 months of admission to trading on AIM. The Company's investment objective is to provide Shareholders with long-term capital growth and a target dividend yield of 8 per cent. of Net Asset Value in the mid- to long-term. To achieve this objective, the Company intends to pursue a relative value investment strategy, the goal of which is systematically to identify and invest in private equity, private debt and other alternative investments that Partners Group believes offer superior value at a given point in time. Investments will include: * Direct investments: interests in equity or debt securities issued by an operating company, typically in transactions led by the general partner of a private equity or mezzanine fund. Such investments are intended, subject to circumstance, to comprise 40 to 60 per cent. of the Company's capital. * Fund investments: interests in private equity or mezzanine funds acquired from other investors (secondary investments) or through a commitment to a new fund (primary investments). Such investments are intended, subject to circumstance, to comprise 20 to 40 per cent. of the Company's capital. * Opportunistic investments: other alternative investments including listed private equity, alternative beta strategies and leveraged debt. Such investments are intended, subject to circumstance, to comprise less than 25 per cent. of the Company's capital following the portfolio ramp-up period. In making investments, Partners Group will consider macro value drivers (industry trends, regional economic conditions, etc.) and deal-specific factors (management quality, firm strategy, financial analysis, etc.) to determine the investments that it believes offer superior risk-adjusted return potential. The Company will seek to capitalise on what Partners Group considers to be the best private investment opportunities in the marketplace by implementing this relative value approach.
