Clegg plays a neat Proportional Representation card by saying that the party with most votes and seats - the Conservatives - should seek to form a government.
They have different fiscal policies, which would suggest a tricky coalition, but does Clegg's statement suggest that PR is what it's all about for the Lib-Dems?

I think you'll find the Libdems held them to ransom on this inheritance tax move Isaac.
That precisely is the problem. That is exactly what the tory party will say when confronted, they will simply blame the Libs.
The simple fact is we have a PM who got 6 times as many votes as Clegg, but Clegg manages to stand shoulder to shoulder when as he rightly described it the Libs had a disappointing election. Camron gave away too much power and I expect the main party supporters and Conservative back benchers to rebel.
I don't think this coalition will last long either.....
Let's not kid ourselves, regardless of who won there would have been hefty cuts and tax rises.
What I find frustrating is these senior intelligent highly educated individuals can get away with making promises and then as soon as they get into power they have the same old Spin and nonsense that follows with ALL POLITICIANS.....
Nothing ever changes.......Anyway I guess I will have to be on the top of my game...
I still expect the very rich to find loopholes to get away withwhatever minimum tax they can pay...
It will be interesting to read more of the detail and especially interested to find out about the upcoming budget.....
