This looks like a good long term investment on the surface. The assets seem to be growing and the debts seem to be relatively low. With the demand on rental property increasing in the UK this appears to be a good long term investment. What is everybody else thinking about this?
Personally think you are right Louis PRS are in the right place at the right time since 1995 the population of the UK has grown by over 10 million and House building has no where near kept pace with that
Leading to a chronic shortage of housing to rent in many areas and price increases that have priced many younger families out of the housing market
On top of this the changes in regulation have pushed smaller buy to let owners out of the market and over the longer term bigger players with purpose built estates for rental will be the way forward
Was fortunate to buy PRS in the 70s range late 20 and locked in a 5% yield they have completed well over 4000 homes now and I think they are a good long term bet for income and a hedge against inflation also if you want exposure to the rental market far more liquid and less hassle than owning your own buy to let property
