I am trying to understand company balance sheets a bit better .
Can anyone recommend a good book to help me do this?
So far I have come up with this

Hi Tony, Apart from our own Paul Scott’s daily lessons, I have always found Stephen Clapham’s how to spot red flags “behind the balance sheet” extremely useful. I would also suggest a First lesson in DYOR (Doing your own research) - ask Mr Google his whereabouts on tinternt. Not being rude with that comment I just believe solving it yourself with a few pointers tends, for me at least to mean I learn it better. Good luck
I’m doing Steve Clapham’s course the Analyst Academy . But he also does a smaller course called How to read a balance sheet . I believe it costs £399.
I recommend Accounts Demystified. I bought it after Ed Croft's emphatic endorsement. There is an 'Aha' moment near the beginning and the rest falls into place. Well explained.
