I've nearly finished reading Ben Grahams book, which was written in the 1940's. I've found the commentaries at the end of each chapter essential because they were written by Martin Zweig using modern examples, and modern terminology. So I went to find a blog or something by him. He has just dropped dead! RiP to a guy i hope gets the respect he deserves for showing novices the way.

manxman - Zweigs book "Winning on Wall St" is an old favourite of mine. It's a bit dated now and some of the ideas no longer work but it's a v. good introduction to systematic investment techniques. http://bit.ly/11ArTSC
Zweig wrote a newsletter for a long time and built up a big following, eventually making his fortune running mutual funds.
We modelled the growth strategy from his book in a stock screen on the site - have a look here - http://www.stockopedia.com/screens/martin-zweig-growth-screen-6/
