The RM Group is a leading provider of educational products and services to schools, colleges and universities, local government and central government education departments and agencies. Founded in 1973, RM works closely with educationalists to use new products, processes and technology to improve teaching and learning and is recognised as a leading innovator in the educational information and communications technology (ICT) arena. RM has worked with Northgate Information Solution's Managed Services division (and previously for many years with SX3) to provide innovative educational ICT solutions both to the C2K project and directly to individual schools. The C2K programme, on behalf of the five education and library boards, is responsible for the provision of an ICT managed service to all schools in Northern Ireland. The provision of Community Connect as part of the C2K Lot 6 project is subject to the satisfactory conclusion of contract negotiations.
