I keep hearing about this rotation now from expensive growth stocks into the beaten down value stocks.

I haven’t rotated much but noticing that my bombed out value shares seem to have suddenly started moving up sharply (most dramatically £VMUC) I’ve thinned some tech/growth to top up in value a bit.
Yes that's been the same for the more value based stocks in my portfolio. Lets hope it continues.
I keep hearing about this too. My shares are growth orientated and have gone up a lot in the last week, Value shares have probably gone up as well. Most things have gone up. I'm not yet convinced that this rotation is actually happening.
I prefer to think of the rotation as between cyclical and growth companies. I have increased my exposure to cyclicals by recently buying a housebuilder and an asset management company. Cyclicals have risen recently but not generally by as much as they have previously fallen. Furthermore I think this area will continue to be volatile and I think there is going to be a stuttering and faltering start to the new business cycle.
Growth shares still need to be held in my view and I am adopting a barbell approach to my portfolio. I think a lot of patience and nerve will be required for the next six months.
