I bought into Softcat in July at 11.36 saw it go up to nearly 1400p in Sept and now its back near July levels. They had also announced that forthcoming results would be positive. This company has great fundamentals and offers competitive cloud solutions to mid size/large public and private businesses who are in dire need of these services. Why then is the share price dipping? Thoughts, anyone?
As a fellow holder, I have asked myself the same question. There doesn't seem to be any bad news apart from a modest downgrade by Credit Suisse from 1110 to 1060 last week. This stock trades in a 25% band so it's just possible this is no more than random movement of the share price. If the price falls another 5% I might sell (I'm about 15% down at the moment).
