There seems to be plenty of software for small businesses that will be compliant with MTD requirements.
But I can't find any for people receiving significant investment income (outside of pensions). Can anyone point me towards possibly relevant software?

I doubt you will need it, MTD only applies to VAT (for now) and financial investments and the income generated therefrom are not subject to VAT
