Stadium Group, the contract electronics engineering and manufacturing company, announced its preliminary results for the year to December 31st 2010. Revenues were up 27% to £44.8 million on the back of a broad recovery in its focus markets as well as strong gains in market share. Pre-tax profits almost doubled to £2.9 million, while adjusted diluted EPS increased to 6.7p (FY 2009: 4.2p).

2010 marked the year that Stadium completed its restructuring into a pure-play electronics design and manufacturing company. As such, Stadium’s long serving CEO, Nigel Rogers, will stand down at the company’s AGM in April having achieved his goal. Stadium’s chairman, Nick Brayshaw, will serve as acting chief executive while the company recruits a new CEO.
