I remember posting a number of users back when I first signed up, and enquired about the possibility of an app release; I was told this was on the map to be released in the near future.
Are we anu closer to having an app release?
Hi Ed. Just so you know that thingumyjig to add it to the home screen doesn’t work for me on my iPad or iPhone
I think it's about time a mobile app was there. They could spend money on new app instead of. New website. I still prefer old site. As it is easy to use. In the new website to get to folios you need to click on folios and get to the one u choose and to change the folio you need to get back to same icon of folio. That is one flaw.
I agree, I think Stockopedia made a mistake with the new site, they should have developed an App for mobiles instead. I was trying to use the new site yesterday and it just was not working, the screen froze or jump around, the column selection, putting the rises/fallers % in order would not work, so I switched back to the old site and no problems at all, this was on an iPad.
I don’t the folios on the new site, some of mine are a mess,
The problem now is the old site is not being maintained, so things don’t work anymore and they are not fixing them.
herbie- using an iPad I have been unable to view a full set of historical interim results on the new site eg for TPFG I can see only up to June 2019, up to now I’ve been switching to the old site to view them. On desktop the new site works fine. With the old site about to be switched off I appear to be snookered. Wondering if you had/still have this issue on your I pad and if/how you solved it. Have raised the issue with the support team.

The new site is not fine on my desktop, the other day I did chart view on my of folios with about 80 stocks, on the old site it took 5 seconds to produce all the charts, on the new site it took 12 minutes, yes this is unusual but it often takes 6-8 minutes on the new site. I have raised issues with the help desk but nothing has been resolved. The iPad is slower than the desktop but it is the new site that is my issue. I don’t have any problems with any other sites.
I just tried this with a portfolio of approximately 120 stocks. It took probably 20 seconds to fully populate all the graphs. If you think about it, there is quite a bit of computing to do, along with a lot of data to request from the servers.
Hi Ed I'm having to move to the iPad app because you have closed down the old web-site. There's no Print button for Folios on the iPad app like there is for Stock Reports. Or in fact, there's no Print button for anything else other than Stock Reports. Is there a Print button in the pipeline?
I see my reply got lost. The old site takes around 5 seconds to produce all the mini charts, the new site is taking usually many minutes. It must be something to do with the new charts?
This is on a pc, ipad can be slower as it's wifi. 20 seconds would be acceptable but 5-12 minutes is not.
This is the only site I have issues with and it's the only site I have to pay for.
I consider the new site is still in beta and why are so many functions, that are on the old site, are still missing on the new site after 2 years? Can't even have simple information such as % price change on quotes. Can't even sort stockranks by sector. Guru screens don't even have the qualification dates. Hoover over stock name and 50MA is missing from the chart. On an ipad some of the information is hidden or some functions don't work, it also runs slow and/or freezes.
That's the crowning stupidity of it. They call it an app but it's not an app like any other!

Just discovered something today, if I do chart view on the Top QM stocks, there are 162, it does it in about 2 seconds, switch to my folios, if there are only about 20 it takes about 5 seconds, however if there are 80 or more it takes minutes. So what is the difference between the Top Stockranks and the folios? It is the same information. I have reported this to the Helpdesk, I will update this post if there is any news.
Same is happening with me. Wonder if it’s due to the iPhone IOS17 update, that’s the only thing that’s changed for me and was working before I updated.
Seems fine to me on my updated iPhone - but the whole site has been a little flakey the past couple of weeks - often seeing timeouts on mobile and desktop.
