No good deed goes unpunished as the saying goes.
Last night, via the old site, I referred a friend to Stockopedia, only to find the referral link is dead.
Then, Stockopedia disabled my account mid morning, trying to fix the above.
It turns out that the site that I am recommending to my friends ISN'T AVAILABLE to new users.
So my friends will not see the screens, URLs and page I see.
I am sorry but I am not recommending the new site to friends. Why would I recommend something I hate and don't want to use?
Stockopedia need to seriously reconsider whether they want to lose existing subscribers business and lose free sales leads too.
To be totally clear, when the old site goes, I go too.
No more referring friends.
I agree. I so wish they had just kept the old site and just improved it occasionally where and if necessary. The new site is far more difficult to navigate. What can’t Stockopedia do the same as IG and ii and keep both sites running and let their subscribers decide?
I’ll probably stay because of the superb Small Company reports from Paul and Jack, and the good bulletin board there, but if that were to end I’ll be switching to the excellent Sharepad. I used to strongly recommend Stockopedia but could not do that for the new site. Sharepad is much more user friendly than the new site here. I used to subscribe to both.
