I thought StockRanks made sense... especially with the nice clean and perfect chart used in Stockopedia promotion...
But the thing is I operate in the US market... where for the last 3 years and Market Cap of > 10m, this is the chart I get:
Would someone care to explain???
The US markets are very different from the UK markets. Different type of companies, different mcaps, spreads, dealing fees etc. Hardly any large high tech companies in the UK. Large companies don't gallop here but they do in the US.
I don't think Stockopedia works so well in the US markets as can be seen by the performance charts of the ranks. S&P 500 often seems to beat the top ranks.
Stockopedia seems to work better on small/mid cap UK and European stocks.
Some of better performing US stocks I don't think are very well ranked on Stockopedia but I can't check now. I'm talking stocks such as $SHOP and $TTD which have done well.
