I think the efforts made by Carmensfella is pretty amazing, he has been consistent and at it for a long time with Mello evenings, Shareholder rebellions, AGM reports and now excellent YOUTUBE videos.
I think he is a very good role model to the wider readership, he comes across well on the boards, does'nt get involved in silly spats and is very good at Investing.

Isaac....thank you for your very kind words. The feedback we get and the confirmation that we have done something that other investors value are what makes these projects worthwhile.

Now we need to move into the tweek and improve stage based on all the feedback but the core idea is pretty much spot on IMO. We think that the first one was pitched about right and we did not want to be too searching or aggressive so as to put off future potential companies but certainly strong enough to show that investors care about information and communication in the way that investors understand the answers and can trust the directors delivering them.
You can all help from here as I am sure you all know a company or two that would benefit from a MelloCast so why not approach the directors that you have contact with and recommend viewing this one as a good example of efficient communication with thousands of serious investors. There is a contact line on the Mellocast website.
With regards to all the investor related events that I run. Well the answer is simple I enjoy them. If we do something we enjoy then we tend to do it well. The other thing I am blessed with is a huge list of contacts and a little bit of old fashioned charm. If you help others then they will come to the rescue when needed....If I need to put something together following an idea, that may have been hair brained but could just have legs, then I nearly always find the right team to give it a chance or have some good guys around me to be the sounding board to say I am being daft!!
I like being a part of a team though and ShareSoc and these MelloCasts are proof that investors are much stronger if they have more than a lone voice and can make things happen. The Mello brand is now very useful and well known. My life explaining what I do for investors to bring companies to them is now so much easier than seven years ago when I started arranging meetings.
Thanks to all of you too. For coming to meetings, attending Mellos, watching these videos and joining ShareSoc...I hope that we can continue levelling the playing field for smaller and private investors for many years to come.
