Technical Analysis - Comment Stocks for Video Review

Hi Guys,

I film 'Stocks to Watch' on my YouTube channel applying the Wyckoff methodology. It's a combination of technical analysis, structural analysis, and analysing market behaviour through non-linear fractal price structures. If you'd like me to cover a stock your interested in, comment below and I'll include it in a video. In additional, I'll also look at the fundamentals using Stockopedia. Any feedback on how to improve the format of the videos and new ideas are greatly received.

Jack quite a few of those precious metal investments which youve been bullish on recently looked bad day today as the pound went up.

I'm interested to see how youre going to trade through brexit, will you sit it out, hedge or plough on

I'll listen to what the market says. Don't get caught in the FOMO of the 'stock market' going up one day because the US and China are going to have a discussion in October... there is a long way to go, including the Q3 earnings season. Not to mention currency wars, and where we are in the economic cycle (i.e., real rates falling) are very good for... gold. Stay with the process.

just watched and enjoyed your latest market indicators vid (i prefer it with only half a head)

a global down turn is being hinted at from a number of sources, which you demonstrated with the UK and US indexes.
however shipping is following a similar chart as gold, just entering a pull back after a bull run, baltic dry index has just pulled back off a five year high.

the index is seen as a proxy for global economic activity. we're meant to be entering a period of increased trade barriers and tariffs, populism and global economic slow down.
that the index is doing so well is frankly wierd.

dry shipping etf

braemar

If theres room, could you add the above to the next market indicators vid

Glad to hear you prefer the lower half of my face, it's definitely the better half.

I'll take a look at the above, it's an interesting point.

Hi Jack

Good Vid #73 again. Thanks.

Recently I have noticed that a few Investment Trusts I watch, have held, am starting to hold again, are beginning to have upward trending trajectories. These are varied across different markets and are thus quite interesting barometers of whether more global changes are beginning to occur over and beyond say USA, UK and possibly Europe.

I thought as part of your market round up (today I believe) or part of a 'stocks to watch' vid you might be interested to look at a few and make comments about the ITs and maybe wider macro trends.

Japan for example Baillie Gifford Japan Trust (LON:BGFD) (med/large caps), Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon (LON:BGS) (small caps), Fidelity Japan Trust (LON:FJV) (larger caps).
China Fidelity China Special Situations (LON:FCSS)
Emerging Markets Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust (LON:TEM)
Vietnam Vietnam Enterprise Investments (LON:VEIL)
Asia Pac. for income Schroder Oriental Income Fund (LON:SOI)

Just a thought.

Regards
Howard

Hey Kennzo,

I'll give my thoughts in Tuesday's Stock to Watch video.  If you wanted to send me a chart with your analysis I can feature it and discuss it so yourself, myself and others can learn.  Let me know.

Best,

Jack

Hi Jack

A chart maybe for your Tuesday vid Cohort (LON:CHRT).

I missed this in its Phase C/D transition.

Ideally maybe should have now waited for the BU/Reversal from its current position, but entry probe is small amount. Also on daily chart suggests this might be low point of a trading range (see next post).

Hi Jack

Another idea for Tues vid maybe? Avon Rubber (LON:AVON)

Again I might be being too eager with today's probe, but it has consistent uptrend trajectory, so a possible campaign stock. As you can see I held it in 2018 for a bit (in my pre-Wyckoff days).
